Empire B question

im going to upgrade from my egg and i was wondering about the empire
since its sound activated, if someone next to you were to shoot their gun, would your empire misfeed?

Nah. The way the Empire B is designed, if it does get activated by a gun near yours, the only thing that would happen is more tension would be put on the drive cone spring. And that's not a bad thing.

LOL Go read one of the many Empire vs Halo threads. IMO there's no disadvantage. Both are great hoppers. I have a Halo, because the price was right. But I'd be just as happy with an Empire.
Some people actually say the Empire is better since you don't have to worry about eyes getting dirty.

That's true. Plus it most likely wouldn't go off since we've been led to believe that the board looks for vibrations and once it hears/feels your marker fire, it knows it's your gun and only feeds to that specific sound.

Ya, I was reading up on them on PBG, seem pretty cool, better than the stock board, but I have the stock one in there now and it does it's job well. Not a must to swap it out for the B2 but it's a worthwhile upgrade.

i have a regular reloader b, actually 2 of them. they've never let me down. whether it's b, or b2, you can't go wrong.

it's up to your budget, and whether you're looking NIB, or secondhand.

lol, I don't think I said that. But if you have the extra cash, I don't see why you shouldn't get it.

i think it's also by the vibrations of the gun too. Not just sound activation.

Instant On - Pro board does not have the auto adjusting sound sensitivity that requires a few seconds after power up. Just hit the power button and go.
Adjustable Sound Sensitivity - 6 Levels. - Helps detect every shot during rapid firing, increasing BPS. Adjust it to match your marker's volume.
Adjustable Motor Speed - Increase your BPS with 3 additional speeds than the standard Reloader B
Spring Tension Monitoring - Now you can enable or disable the feature that monitors drive cone spring tension. The motor shuts down after spring is fully wound, this helps prevent ball breaks from overpowering the drive cone. This feature also determines when the drive cone is empty and motor speed is slowed down to help prevent ball breakage when your hopper is very close to empty. This feature will increase battery life and reduce ball breaks.
Comes with the 4-AA Battery Pack, or can be used with the stock 6-AA pack.
There is a foam spacer for the 4 pack to prevent shaking during rough play.
Includes Empire back plate and shell badges.
Comes with full installation instructions, as well as operating instructions for the 3-Speed board.
Achieves up to 22+ bps with any color shell paintball.

The original board just has 3 speed levels to choose from.

Instant on makes the B2 worth it in my book.
I run a reloader B as my primary and as my backup. Its my loader of choice.
I turn them on empty and leave them on all day, the instant on would be a nice feature to have. Most issues people have are because they don't turn the loader on when its empty.

I'm eventually getting it but I just want to see how the WAS Board will be. This is why I hate WAS because they let everybody know what they're coming up with at the start of their production or design so it takes forever for their stuff to be released. Either that or they are just really slow, lol. And Jim Drew isn't even the owner anymore, right?
