Should I Purchase This Hopper?

Ricochet Apache LED Motorized Paintball Loader - Black at ActionVillage.com : Paintball

I have a T98C, and I only play in local tournaments, so I don't need a badass 100 bps HALO hopper or anything...
Is this a worthy upgrade from the stock, gravity-fed hopper on a T98C?

not realy.

It will work but not as well as you might think.

Another hoper to think about would be a Evlution aka an Egg.

Yeah, I don't want to spend $100 on a hopper though...

It is an ok hopper. I would also recommend a TSA Backman or Frontman loader. Inexpensive and reliable. I have had the ricochet and it is nice, loads fast and doesn't eat batteries like some others. Lastly, get a 12v Revolution hopper -- they are still the go-to hoppers for mech markers like the 98c.

I have a ricochet as well, it's a good, light, inexpensive, non battery kiling, easy to maintain loader. Granted it's not a 25 bps loader but it does the work at 11bps just fine.

The apache will hit 20 though, not consistently, but it will hit it.
