Which loaders don't run continuously?

I'm new to the world of force fed hoppers, and looking around I hear people talking about for things like for Woodsball you don't want to get loader X because it runs continuously and the constant running can become annoying/loud and instead you should get loader Y.

My question is how do you tell the difference? I know there's loaders that are eye activated and sound activated. Do the eye activated hoppers do anything to prevent continuous running, or is it just the sound activated ones? Or is it something else entirely?

I was thinking of getting a VL Revolution Eye Force because it's cheap, but if it's going to run continuously, forget that. I'd rather pay a little more and get one that doesn't run continuously, suggestions?

anything that is sound activated or uses eyes, or other sensors does not run continuously.

Hopper which run all the time are crap, they break paint and waste batteries; I'm glad you're not interested in them.

EyeForce does not run continuously. And, IMO, is the best value in paintball as far as loaders. It can be had new the same price as some other loaders that have worse battery life and hold less cost used!
