All you wanna be JRNY fans, I guess Tippmann will make your day

This is the first of what will probably be MANY changes from Tippmann buying out NXE...

I saw a video of a JRNY prototype, but what do you mean about Tippmann buying out NXE?

NXE today announced it has sold its NXe Paintball division to Tippmann Sports.

John Bosch President and CEO of NXE commented: "The sale of NXe paintball to Tippmann Sports is both a happy day as well as a sad day for us. The paintball division was our baby and we have had great success within the industry. It was very important to us to that future of NXe will continue to be nurtured and built with the same passion and commitment we have here. That is why the only company we would even consider to offer our company to was and is Tippmann. Tippmann has the same values and commitment as well as the integrity, credibility and passion to be the very best at what they do. Tippmann will be able to take NXe to new heights, which was also very important to us. From that regard we could not be happier.

As a company we are officially launching our new NXE consumer electronics line at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January. We are extremely confident that this direction is a very positive step for our company and for all of our employees. You can learn more about NXE products by visiting our web site Welcome to nxeProducts , on Facebook, or on our Twitter page. We hope all of our paintball related consumers who have supported NXE will continue to support us and also find our new consumer electronics products as cutting edge, innovative, and of course the best of the best in quality.

We will work closely with the Tippmann team to ensure a smooth transition so all of the Tippmann and NXe customers who are accustomed to the best service and support in the business will continue to receive that commitment. In closing let me say we would like THANK the entire paintball community for all of the support, friendship, and dedication - not only to NXe, but to the sport and game we all love and are passionate about. I would also like to thank our customers and consumers, who have supported us over the years, and moving forward, will keep NXe as the top soft goods brand in the industry. We have made friendships that will last long past the last ball being shot, and that is a testament to this industry, and sport, and the people who are a part of it. As you know we have sponsored hundreds and hundreds of teams over the years from all over the world. We would also like to thank a few of these teams who became part of our family and was with us from the beginning.

Avalanche, Joy Division, Impact, Aftermath, Strange, Rage and of course our Dynasty boys.

Thank You,

The NXE family.

heres the part that gets me about the JRNY

"Unparalleled NXe JRNY Loader battery life allows 20,000+ balls to be fed on 4 AA batteries"

unparelelled? clearly Tippmann hasnt heard about the rotor that claims 50,000 off of 3! true or not i know i went through over 20,000 in the first set of batteries i had in it, in fact well surpassed that mark

i thought there were some issues with the JRNY and thats why it wasnt released? somehting about blending paint?? not to mention $120 for a hopper that pulls 30bps with no real new features? who in their right mind is going to buy it?

I bet it'll sell very well. Because they made so many videos and such, and then never released it, there are a lot of people that want it despite the fact that it popcorns like CRAZY from the videos I've seen.

I'd be interested in using one

IDK about purchasing though, unless Tippmann makes a miracle happen and makes the JRNY actually work like it was advertised and hyped to do

on the other hand perhaps NXe already produced these JRNYs but shelved them because of the popcorn or other issue, but Tippmann just sees money to be made regardless of if it works or not

they talk about a low profile but you look at the front of that thing and it looks like the fricken titanic, theres no way your getting any bounces off of that

And to think I was about to ask if you would trade your 07 Quest for my OG 1990's tree trunk Sandana with you adding 9,000 dollars you would have to add more because it's faded, in other words it's been on my head for countless hours full of sweat while the sun fades away the original color because it makes it more valuable and agg.

Meh, just make sure they're looking the other way when you're using the Shocker and use it as a temporary gravity defying assistance device.

I have to say that the 07 Quest and o3m would probably be the LAST 2 markers I would part with in my collection.
