Cyclone feeder on a 98 custom

So i got this gun off a buddy, ive been loving the one on ones with my buds in the woods. That scope gets in the way a lot tho, not a big fan of it. So yea, im fairly new to paintball. But not to research. Even after doing a bit of that im damn confused.
Attaching pics of the gun (98 Custom). Not sure its a platinum or anything else and don't understand fully what ACT is about.
What i want to know is if i can attach a cyclone feeding system without drilling or anything too complicated. Or would i be better off purchasing a Halo B or smth similar. (Fyi, i got a double trigger coming in the mail).
Thank you.

It's very easy to attach a cyclone, the system was designed to be easily incorporated onto a 98C. That said, I'd prefer to use a traditional electronic hopper. They're faster, IMO easier on paint, and if you ever decide to upgrade from your Tippmann, they can go with you to the next marker.

Check out the BT Rip Clip, its like the cyclone feed system, except electronic and designed by HALO, they are specially made to fit the 98

and also stuck to the 98. again you can not bring it with onto a different marker when you move onto that point

i agree with miller, get a good e-hopper that can work on any marker not just this one

also, word of advise, dont go crazy upgrading a entry level marker, you can get a great mid range marker for $200 now a days that will be better stock than you can ever make a entry level marker so the best things you can get are a good hopper, a good mask and a HPA tank. after those if you still want more performance its best to move onto a different marker

o, and ATC its tippmanns "anti-chop technology" its just a mechanical means of (hopefully) not chopping paintballs as they come into the breach

Was interested in the cyclone cause of the 100% mechanical factor. Hopper compatibility is a strong point tho. Thinkin ill invest on a Halo B. Hear good things.

Know this, basic concept that applies to DH longboarding as well. Only trying to increase the firing speed of the tipmann. I'm digging the invert minis tho. Need to meet more playersand, get feedback on other brands tho.
Thanks for the info.

the mechanical loader part is the only redeaming factor, beyond that, it kinda sucks and is expensive

Hear ya, I'm sold on a Halo Too. If i do get more serious into this, ill throw money on fancy gear like invert markers and dye rotors.

Bleh on the Rotor. No better than the Too, and jams more often.

Probably will pick up the Z2 next check. Although it depends on when my %##@$ing checks get here, as right now I have money, but no way of paying my rent because my old account doesn't have enough $$$, and my new account doesn't have checks!!

Well, the Z2 is definitely for when you know you're going to be playing regularly, and you have the $$$. there's absolutely NOTHING wrong with the Too. I still get more use out of it than I do my Pinokio or Prophecy.

No. But I find that probably 3/4 times I go, SOMEONE's hopper is down, so I loan them the Too.
