Rotor Upgrades

...Are there any worth it? (Other than a speed feed) namely something like
Virtue Rotor Soft Cycle Arm
or board upgrades, etc.

id get a speed feed, i have the virtue crown and dont like it, find one that sits flush on the hopper and does not stick up

i wouldnt worry about the arm unless you are breaking paint, and even then id turn your tension down before worrying about an upgrade.

the thing already feeds 50 and is water proof, why would you need a different board?

soft cycle isn't really needed. for people who whine about uber brittle paint it appeases them. but i've never had my rotor break anything super brittle (hellfire, ultra evil, evil, redemption [yeah not uber brittle i know]).

as long as it has the sharkfin you're good to go

for speedfeeds, i love my exalt V2. spine's not bad either

the spine takes a while to break in, but i'm finally starting to like mine.

the new board works better with reballs from what I understand, but unless youre' doing that dont' bother with it.

I was looking into getting a rotor for my Etek 3. What is the shark fin and what does it do?

see that thing that looks like a shark's fin, that's the shark fin. it helps with the un-jamming mechanism, and i guess it helps with the feeding a little bit. sorry i'm running on about 20 something hours with no sleep, and had a very long day at work... someone should probably slap me right now for posting in this state

edit:eh? IMG tags are off?

its not that it helps the hopper not jam, in the 3 years iv been rocking mine i have yet to have it jam in the first place (minus the case where 4-5 balls broke inside the hopper from a fall)

all the shark fin does is lift the paint out of the tray when the arm is rotating backwards. i still dont have one, i havent had any major problems
