Viewloader Revolution C.A.T?

I have a Viewloader Revy C.A.T that I have been using with my Tippmann for a while, but I am thinking about getting a Proto Rail (not Reflex Rail) or a Planet Eclipse Etha. Do you think my hopper will be able to keep up? The description online says 12+bbps so..... Anyways, I'm not planning on shooting super fast, but would like to be able to shoot fast. If it can't keep up, what hopper would you recommend. Im not looking to spend the money for a Rotor or Prophecy, but something relatively cheap.

Thanks for the help.

The markers you are looking at have eyes so it wouldn't be a total disaster but look into a forcefeed loader like a Halo too or VL Eyeforce. The Eyeforce is a bit on the ugly side but it works okay.

I don't think they make Eyeforces anymore, and ideally I'd like a force feed, but I will need to wait a while for the money.

What exactly do you mean by "total disaster"?

Last I had checked, they still made the Eye-Force, but only in cammo, not black.

edit: admittedly, it's been some time since I checked.

What I meant was that the eyes in the marker should prevent chops from the loader not being able to keep up. You will still have a problem with the paint feeding consistently but at least you won't need a squeegee every five seconds.

So, technically I can use the Revy and not experience bad problems, and it will still work decently, but it's just not preferred?

Sweet, thanks for the help. I think I may just continue with the Revy for a bit till I get the money for a better force feed. Any force feeds that are good for someone on a budget?

Would need to know what "Budget" is...heh.

If you can find one - I like the Vlocity Jr. I probably put 3 cases through mine (backup to my backup marker's Halo...) but It did its job and did it well. They're no longer in production, so finding one at the clearance price of $35 is going to be a bit difficult.

Halo B and Halo Too are nice hoppers $50-80. I've experienced issue after issue with the Too's shell - though nobody else on the forum has an issue with it. I caution you not to bring it out for use with winter paint - as I was blowing through a shell per weekend, and ended up having to use my pod marking duct tape to hold it together....i finally got fed up and bought a Rotor.

Pinokio (100)- Haven't used one personally, but Miller has and liked it (if memory suits). Simple construction - able to use a spray bottle to wash out paint breaks with the hopper assembled... really can't go wrong unless you don't like the tab-sensor in the feed neck

Rotor - Some love them. Some hate them. Some swear by them...some swear at them. I bought mine when the cost of owning my Too (shell breaks) caught up to the price of the Rotor. I love it. I won't stray unless something better, nicer, or someone gives me a free one. The speed feeds Dye makes are a bit...wonky... ripping easy - though I've had one successful warranty return... so as long as you don't mind rotating 2 in and out, you should be alright with Dye product. I've had negative experiences with KM feeds. And a virture crown is going to work the same way on this that it will a Halo...which is pretty well. (unless you look at the spine feeds, which is where my attention is currently shifted).

Cheaper version of the Pinokio would be the Spyder Fasta 18V LED. Around the same price as the Halo Too. Holds more, simpler since it's a bend sensor instead of ears, nothing to program at all on it, just turn it on or off. Won't jam unless you're trying to feed football shaped paint. It is a little larger profile than the Too or a Rotor though. Looks like it would be a HUGE difference, but it's nowhere near as much on marker as it looks like it would be.
