My Spire arrived!

One of the few things I've bought brand new.

Had to take pics with my phone. Well, didn't HAVE to, but didn't feel like getting out my camera. Yes, the phone kinda sucks (Droid 4, high res, but crappy at focusing).

my team is also working on snagging some of these through virtue. I'm quite happy with them from what i've seen.

Sometimes when they get low on paint, they tend to stop feeding properly. i've never had it happen to myself though.

Having it arrive far too late in the day to use it at the field, I'm pretty happy with it so far. I've been drop testing it with reball (playing the shell like a violin with a second lock lid which works amazingly well) and it has yet to even hiccup.

They hold more than a rotor and work just as great.

Hold more than a Rotor. Can feed reball without just setting and pulling the anti-jam. Can feed imperfect paint without just setting and pulling the antijam. Also, IMO, just better looking than a Rotor.

Does it have a mechanical anti-jam? That's why i always liked the halo's over velocity/rotor

No, automatic electronic anti-jam. To my knowledge there is no way to even manually tell it to anti-jam.

Well, I'm sure that you could tell it to unjam, but not sure if it will do as you command. We're also looking to pick up a few of these guys although I'll have to wait until I get back from deployment
