It's best if you release it after playing. Turn it off, turn eyes off, and fire twice, making triple sure there is no paint in the breach before turning it on.

theres not a whole lot of stored up air in the mini, like miller said, 2 shots and it will be empty, its not worth 2 shots to keep the marker aired up all the time and stressing all the parts constantly

I THINK you hit the on/off button 1 time. It's been quite some time since I've used one though so I might be wrong.

Your manual will tell you how though.

Gee that's a good question I don't even know where to start.

Honest to God cheap electros are going to make me quit paintball altogether. It was bad enough when the noobies would show up with a Tippmann and fire off an extra shot or two because they didn't know about the safety. That was annoying but we could all have a good laugh about it and use it as a reminder to the rest. Now I have kids showing up with a marker that can put out more paint in a few seconds than a Tippmann would shoot in an entire game and they can't be bothered to read a few pages to learn how to use the basic functions!

1) read the manual
2)turn it off
3)hold the trigger
4)turn it on
5) ?????
6)profit!!!

not one of the better ways of turning on and off the eyes but it does work

and unfortunately the mini does not have a forced shot programed in (one thing i really like about my DM6, if it is having issues and im not sure if its the eyes i can have it force a shot, if it works i know the eyes are probably dirty, if not, its something else)
