My new MINI

Picking up my new(new to me) 2nd generation MINI tomorrow. HP tank, VL hopper, and barrel package for 280... Not bad. That being said this is my first MINI, I need the basic insight for these bad boys. ANy particular upgrades I should do? Any help or input is appreciated. Thanks.

Which hopper? VL EyeForce, Force, Vlocity, or Vlocity JR.?

Get the latest poppet for it to get it shooting at it's best (earlier poppets would occasionally stick, and were worse efficiency). Other than that, leave it stock.

I have a JR but it came with a force. Where do I get the other poppet? What about the trigger, not a fan of the stock one... Dont like the play in it.

Yeah. It's not a night and day difference, it's just mildly improved.

Nice. and for the price, its not too bad. Its really the trigger if anything Im not to happy with the play in it. Is there a way to eliminate the "loose" feeling?

Some people shim it. If you can afford it, easier to replace it with something better though.

the side to side is just due to the physical trigger size itself. its just a touch small, that's where the play comes from

Yes, you can get a trigger that's made with better tolerances (Critical), or you can shim the stock trigger.

A shim is basically just putting a washer onto the rod.
