cleaning paint off the board and eyes???

i got my mini broke all the way down to clean. but how do i clean the paint off the eyes and board safely.
dont want to mess anything up...Eyes have some on them. The board is just sticky.

with a q-tip and paper towel. The thing to me most worried about is pulling a wire out.

will it hurt to use a damp q tip?

i need to know which direction the check valve goes as well. i didnt notice which way it came out.
and do i need to lube the orings for the transfer plate, that are around were the check goes?

Damp would not be good. If you absolutely have to use a liquid. Find denatured or isupropel alcohol. Use very little however. Also, do not use the same q-tip for both eyes. Different part, new cleaning tool.
