Mini Eye Issues

So i picked up a mini a week ago and noticed that the solenoid is still clicking even when the eyes are on. I've read that some minis have the problem that the eyes are sitting too low in the hole and will constantly fire even if there's no paintball.

Is there an easy fix for this or am I better off buying a new eye board?

I've taken the entire marker apart and cleaned it out as best i can with q-tip and tooth picks to get all the gunk away from the eyes but it still dry fires.

could be a bad connection to the main board. I never had any issues with mine but that was a while ago. most likely you are just going to have to replace them

Awesome. A good reason to buy the virtue eyes.

could be. but then again it still should be giving you some sort of eye malfunction warning. The way the eyes work is they have to see each other and then when a paintball drops in, not see each other. if it is a short so the eyes just think they are never seeing each other the marker should know something is wrong

when the marker is sitting but on, what is the light blinking like?
