cocker reg

my friend is about to get a new reg for his cocker and will give me his stock one, will it fit and is it worth puttin on, it doesnt have a gauge, he also wants to sell me his old nitro tank for 45, is that a good deal?, this is goin on a tl plus by the way.can a tl plus run nitro well on mostly stock internals

um, biggest problem w/ the reg is its output pressure. If it doesn't put out I "think" (sorta fuzzy) 650psi it won't recock. The reg should fit on there fine.

Is that a 45/3000 steel tank? Hell, i say buy it. Make sure the hydro is good for like 2 more years though. Good deal on a tank.

thats a fine tank. Steels are like $100 new. They are heavy, but meh, u get what u pay for. and i dont think u want to pay $200 for a carbon fiber nitro tank.

Well, the reg should just screw in.

u could lower the pressure ur gun needs a few ways. Take the venturi (spiral thing) out of the bolt. And also drill a larger hole for the vertical adapter. Check out otterscustoms (or something to that effect) for some good home mods.

ive looked at tht site a few times, ive already polished my internals, and i have a ACS derlin antichop bolt on the way, will that do the trick

yeah, that should make it fairly lower. If all that fails u could buy a new valve.

ok, so if it doent work to start off with, just take it off till i can eventually make it low enough to work basically?, will the nitro help with that?
