question about electra dx

Ok my cousin has an electra dx and they suposedly have an inline reg but it must be cheap cause I think it regulates it at like 800psi or something. What psi are they supose to run at and could i eliminate that reg and run a preset hpa tank set for 800 psi. He wants to put on a phat flame drop and an on/off. Thanks

there should be a small screw in the reg which u can use to adjust it. It's not the best though. U could take the reg off totally, but then what would u put there? A better one would be good, torpedos and cp regs are good.

yes. that is what most people do that have a spyder/clone. 800 psi coming from the tank, and the reg to reduce the pressure to optimal preformance.

The reg on there is on the ASA,so if you get rid of the reg you won't have anywhere to screw in your tank. You could get a torpedo reg, those are good.
