A regulator makes your compressed air tank more efficient. I wouldnt get a rico. They aren't very good. Get an egg or a reloader instead. Or if you wanna just buy a awesome hopper and not buy another one get a halo b or reloader b.

See i want to buy everything from xtremex.com/paintball and they dont have a relaoder 2. I only want a pretty good hopper cuz my gun isn't going to be firing too fast, at least not enough to pay $100 on a halo.

Uh...no. A regulator does just what it sounds like...Regulates!!! It regulates the pressure to the set psi you want(you adjust it). It can be used with co2 or compressed air, though some regulators can be ruined by co2. A regulator makes shots more consistant which can result in better efficiency and accuracy(less fluctation in velocity)

a regulator regulates the air/co2 flow into the marker to a certain pressure. Therefor it makes the gun more consistent, and consistency=accuracy.

-The agitating hopper should probably be your first upgrade for an electronic gun like a spyder imagine. However, instead of the ricochet id suggest a Viewloader revolution(aka: revvy). The ricochets have major problems in terms of build quality(their feednecks are infamously fragile), speed, and price.
-Drops, although they were once very popular are not as useful as they once were in the current game(speedball). This is because the drop forward adds height to the marker and with inflatable bunkers length isnt that big of a disadvantage(compared to height) and can even be an advantage(because it allows you to stay tighter by pushing in the bunker). Most people have replaced drops with rails or unimounts both of which hold the tank under the grip frame and many of which feature on/offs(to shut off the air flow with the tank still connected).
-I would suggest getting an air tank as your next upgrade. Then i would suggest getting a better gun, because no matter how many upgrades you put on it will never compete with the next plateu(sp?). Many will suggest a barrel and that might be a good idea if saving will take a while. Id suggest a J&J Ceramic($35) because it is pretty cheap and if you sell a used one on ebay you can get all of your money back(because some stores bring the price up to $60).

i didnt bash it. I didnt say one negative thing about it. maybe you should read more carefully.

all i said was that its not going to compete with a $300 gun without spending a lot more then $300 on upgrades. This should be obvious and isn't bashing the gun, since the gun is still good for its price range.

Would you rather have some one bash the gun or make the same mistake many do and upgrade the hell out of it before realizing it wasnt worth it and when you resell it, it will be worth a fraction of the cost.

ok
if you want tto stick with that gun and you absolutly must get a drop id suggest mini drop. Also eventual upgrades that will make your marker much better would be a t-board(w/ eyes), a low rise clamping feedneck, a new bolt, and a CP regulator.
however all of these will not effect the performacce as much as the upgrades you have listed except for maybe the t-board which, at $80, is probably the best bang for the buck(i didnt mention it before because a spyder w/ tboard doesnt have that great resale).

Thumbs up

Imagine is a good choice... but you'll definately need an electric hopper,reload2,or revy,
I have the reloader and it works great on my electro upped Rodeo.Gun comes stock with drop, reg,and gauge. No matter wat you get your most likely going to upgrade anyway.
