Just wonderin about a spyder compact.

When I went paintballin a while back my current gun was sold and I am waiting until april to get a new 1. But quick question, the spyder I rented just started going crazy. It was full on co2 then out of the middle of no where, *safety on* the gun starts going off on full auto *no electronics what so ever* I got a different gun, but I'm just wondering if anyone knows what could have caused that. I didn't touch the trigger or anything.

the valve pin may be busted. take it to a airsmith and let the look at it. I'm sure it has to do with the valve

An o-ring might've broke, but it just sounds like you were out of CO2.

The gripframe might have been loose enough againt the body to let the sear slip off the hammer and then not be able to catch it again on the next cycle.

Nope, gun was tight, the reason I made this thread is b/c I don't know much about spyders and it may help another compact owner. I don't own one but the info could help out someone who does.

If the saftey was on and you didn't touch the trigger, then something was internally wrong. Maybe the hammer or sear was worn and slipped because of a bump or motion.
