how good is the boomstick really?

yeah i just got a 14" boomstick off ebay for 84.00 total...did i get a good deal or was that a bad decision?

for the price of a boomy, yes. However, the dye ultralight barrel is the same damn thing but lighter. U might of gotten one for less. But i doubt it.

Boomsticks seem pretty over-rated to me. The Ultralite's the way to go these days. For $84 you could have gotten a used barrel kit.

i would have to say that they boomstick is better than a j&j, sorry bud ^^, lol

its a good barrel, but it is overrated

lol i know, actualy i was told that all barrels are almost the same. except for stuff like ceramic. what does the boomstick have that makes it so great?

good choice on the boomstick! i have one for my spyder and getting another for my impulse. everyone complaines they are too heavy but honestly, how heavy can a 12"-14" barrel be?? you have to be the weakest man alive to complain about the wieght. and $84 is a good price since they're like $120+ new.

I have an UL, got it from a friend for $25 once he got his new timmy.

I like it, can't beat it for the price I got it at.

It didn't "shoot darts" like everyone said it would, but that may have been the cheap paint I was using.
