Most guns are "loud". The Imagine being one of them...a barrel is about the only way you have to muffle the sound. Dont worry about the sound too much unless you're a woodsball player, but even then...tippys are loud too.

Look for an aftermarket barrel with lots of porting. Most Spyder's will have that "ping" sound to them.

A new striker will make it sound a bit cooler and get rid of that "ping" sound if that conserns you at all.

Yeah! get a better barrel, and you'll definately quiet your gun... most guns are loud ,cause you're shooting inches from your ear. From a distance your target hears a muffled shot.Like Mat32 said more porting as in a 14" Teardrop or progressive,J&J etc.

hey guys thanks a bunch...
so the next question is?

tear drop 14" or 12"
or
j&j 14" or 12"

which is cheaper?
which is more reliable?
which is more accurate?
which is more quiet?
which is more all around better?

J n J 14", these barrels are teflon coated so you can shoot through ball breaks. 14" is better and more accurate than a 12".

14..or even 16 if you feel the need(I have a 16 and dont' think it's too long) basiclly after 16 inches it's gonna slow your ball down though(some argure it's 14 but i disagree)

16" is really good for backman, if your playing front then stick with a 14".
