Rodeo vs. Imagine

I am debating which gun to get, the Rodeo or the Imagine LED. I have heard numerous times that the grips on the Imagine are worthless and I should most likely buy some new ones. I am on a limited budget and don't want to spend too much extra money on stuff I can avoid.
Thanks

IMAGINE!! The money u save by getting the ESP frame stock is well worth it. And if the grips on the imagine are worthless then all spyder grips are worthyless right? B/c Kingman uses the SAME grip on all their guns.

When reading the reviews on a review site they said they left the board open and let dirt in, not firsthand.

I'd buy the imagine.

Imagine grips are just cheap plastic panels on each side, but they are the same that will be found on any other spyder E-frame like bobide said. They're not the most comfy or hot looking things ever, but they keep the parts inside and almost all dirt outside.

The rodeo and the imagine are also the same price, about..

If you were to upgrade the rodeo to the imagine's electronics it'd cost $80-$120 extra

Yea get the imagine for sure. As said above they all use the same grips, and i've never heard of anyone having problems with dirt inside the grips. Since they cost about the same, the Imagine is well worth it.

If i were you id get the Spyder Victor II. Best bang for your buck. Lets see 50 for the gun and 80 for esp frame 130. Spyder Imagine is i think is 150 or sumtin for an 05. So go with the Victor. All spyders have the same body on every gun. Just some are electronic and some are mechanical.

victors have some plastic parts though. I'd just get the imagine, like said, it's still the best deal.

I would get the rodeo simply because I had to many problems with the electronic trigger sear. The problem was every time I pulled the trigger it shot two or three times making the "burping noise" I tryed sanding and fileing the sear and stricker so it was smoother. It did help a bit, instead of three shots per trigger pull it came down to one or two and sometimes did it. But it soon got worse. What I ended up doing was milling the stricker and sear flat. After all that trouble it finely worked properly. After what I went thrue I would not advize it to anyone.

Unless they changed thear electronic trigger sear from the old imagine.

obviously you got a bad trigger frame, this a race case I've never heard of. I'd have sent it in to kingmann.

imagine is best for the money you pay.

Imagine all the way. $108 shipped from xpaintball. LED is slick and it comes with the blade trigger. Imagine > Rodeo.

actually the rodeo's grips are much more comfy.

but get the imagine if you are going electrical, get a victor 2 if you're going mechanical. thats playing it smart. rodeo is a pretty looking mech with a regulator.

Get the rodeo! It has far more features and to get elctronic trigger like the imagine it will put the rodeo at about $150. If you get an Imagine you end up paying $200. 30 for a barrel that will allow you to hit anything. Imagine are very inaccurate stock. You will also need an eltro hopper. if you don't want your gun becoming a ball chopping expert you will need one.

IMAGINE= $200
RODEO= $150( AND FAR BETTER STILL AT THESE PRICES)

Don't listin to these people who think electro is awesome. It isn't (except for the rocking trigger). It cost so much more money to get a decent gun.

How Did you end up getting the price of a Imagine For $200.. last time i checked its $108.. thats a pretty big price difference from what your friend here is saying the Rodeo is... Just think you'll now have enough left over to get a Revy

If you're just looking for a gun to play with, the Rodeo. I own an Imagine. The e-frame is nice, but you have to get a new hopper and barrel for it to be effective. The Rodeo has everything you need to be able to play and have a gun that will fill your needs until you are ready for tourney play.

Also, the Imagine will break down more than the Rodeo. I take EXCELLENT care of my Imagine, and I've had to sauder the board and replace a wire that both broke on two occasions from sliding and stuff.

Both are pretty good guns for their price, but I wish I had gotten a Rodeo.. I never really like tournaments. I just like shooting around with my friends. But back when I tried doing tournaments, the extra bps were invaluable. Your choice.
