imagine trouble

i went to play today but my gun was double firing and and shooting ridicoulusly slow. i had a hard valve spring in, and med main spring as this time. i took out the med main spring and replaced it with a soft and it still double fired but not as much, but velocity droped trmendously. i took out both springs at this point and replaced with stock springs and still did it really bad but velocity kicked up. i turned my velocity down some and it did it less. some times the bolt would get stuck at an almost recocking position but not quite. wtf is wrong with my gun?

ups are in sig if that helps,
p.s. i was using co2 today on account of my HPA needing to be hydroed

could it be that i put a 3rd o ring on my blue bolt? causeing it have to much friction and not wanting to recock all the way? it wasnt sliding smoothly in the reciever with the 3rd and i just tore it down and took the 3rd off and it slides a pretty good bit more smoothly

i bet ur sear is slipping, letting it double fire. Check for sear wear and make sure ur battery is new/fully charged, make sure the wiring harness it firmly attached, also does ur noid make a good solid click sound? My borthers noid wasn't cycling fully or something and was causing all kinds of trouble. Putting a coin behind the noid fixed it though.

checked the sear out and it is fine, noid clicks loud and clear. no idea about the wireing harness. earlier i put the stock bolt back in and it still double fires so that cant be it,ill be redoing the spring config later this afternoon , that has to be it, i cant see anything else

Try dry firing your gun without paint and see if it double feeds, if it does then it's your sear slipping. If not then it's your ball detents. I have the same problem, i'm getting breakbeam eyes and dual detents installed on my gun next month. Or you can just open your detent up and clean it, maybe even replace it...their only $5.
