Exclamation Tank Leakage...

Whenever I take my C02 tank off my Spyder TLR, like not when it's completely off but when the tank is about halfway, the tank leaks C02 like crazy, it blows everywhere. I think it's something with the C02 tank's valve opening, any ideas/upgrades on how to fix this?

Thanks

This is completely normal, its just the leftover air rushing out of your marker. You can buy an on/off valve for your tank, or an on/off asa. This will allow you to shut off the flow of co2 before you unscrew your tank..

There is also a technique where you unscrew ur tank 3/4 and shoot while unscrewing it. But ive never used that, too much of a pain

Yea dont worry about it, its not letting enough air out to rob the tank of too many shots. But like he said, get an on/off valve put on your tank. I got the Smart Parts valve, works great. Dont put it on yourself, have someone at a paintball shop do it or an airsmith.

When you want to take your tank off, count how many turns it takes b4 the air spews out. Remember that or mark it on your asa. next time you take the tank off, unscrew it to right before that point and fire your marker until it doesnt recock anymore. you can then unscrew the tank or recock it and try to fire it, but this pretty much elimates all spewing. for some reason no one at my field knows about this

Because its so much easier just to remove the damn tank and not worrying about the co2 coming out and losing a few shots.
