Parts for air system

I have a Spyder Agressor XT and i want to get a ACI Subzero six stage X chamber and a Dead on Paintball pro style drop forward. Should i use macro line or steel braided hose?

If your getting a drop on it then you'll need to use macroline for the right size, angle, and bend. Steel only comes in it's normal length and really can't be flexable at all with drops. And macroline provides better airflow than steel. Are you going to run c02 or hpa on this gun? Because co2 would eat away macroline and it wont last long till it blows.

yes it can, more flexible in fact. If you bend a piece of macroline a lot, its going to kink and restrict airflow. A SS hose will bend any which way, and the airflow will not be restricted. As for length, thats why they have rulers.. Macroline will be easier to install, but is also more dangerous than a solid SS hose..

sorry buddie but you are all wrong.. you can get steel braided in length... make almost any bend(even MORE than macro) i dont see how macro can flow anymore than steel braided or vise versa.. and co2 wont eat away at macro.. but co2 is very cold and macro is plastic.. and cold plastic is brittle..

B2K is right. Actually steel line is nothing but a macroline with steel braid lining outside. you could specify at your local PB store for certain length and put it on your marker. macro lines are more user friendly since you just need to cut a new one on the go compared to a steel braid.

Now, how long is it gunna take you to get a specially right sized steel braided hose? What if they cut it the wrong size or it doesn't fit? Marcoline can be adjusted and bent in no time. And co2 will freeze up and eat away the marcoline. Its macroline, not steel.

LMAO

It's a sport where people are shooting 300 FPS projectiles and aiming for each other's head and/or trying to take out Count Sackula. Who cares if some Macro bursts and spews a bit of liquid Co2....

ok then, depress the pin on a c02 tank and point it at your face and see what happens... not a good idea is it...

Defiantly not a good idea.

I saw a fairly new guy forget to turn off his tank (had a no/off installed on the tank) and the co2 sprayed him in the face.

Good think he had his mask on cause it was covered in a good bit of ice and it could have been his face that got iced.

um, would you rather be endangered by a liquid paint filled gelatin ball less than 1'' in diameter, or the possiblily of getting severe burns from liquid carbon dioxide entering the atmosphere and ruining your exposed epidermis..
