VS1 Feedneck

i have a spyder vs1 with the stock feedneck that i want to remove to put on a clamping one, how the hell do i get this thing off? ive stripped off alot of the paint after going at it with a wrench ... i looked around and believe the VS series have threaded feednecks. any advice?

they screw off. You just might want to wrap a towel to annodized parts before going at it with a wrench, or you can scratch the **** out of it, your choice.

You need to get a very firm grip on it and turn.

Some are really easy to get out, some are really hard. Mine was stuck on there, I had no choice but to scratch it up. But if your going to put a clamping one on there, just mess the old one up and throw it away, its junk.

yeah that's why i wasn't worried about scratching it. thanks ill just keep trying what i was doing then

EDIT: got it with the wrench, it was glued...
