I haven't paintballed in about 2 years. I'm now trying to get back into it.

you mean it will not unscrew?

also if you have had this marker in storage for 2 years your probably going to need to buy a new main spring (probably $5)

it could just be torqued on. my friend has a similar problem. it is very hard to remove, and he just left it on. this may not be your problem, but it could.

I mean I clearly felt the air blast from that area and I don't know what else it could be.
I want to do everything I can before taking it in for a fix.

All he might need is a new oring

Not AZN level price, there's not too many electro markers priced at the same level as the Talon.

So i unscrewed it. O ring to the eye looks fine. Idk what else it could be. On the inside there is some white residue. As if it was paint.

where were you storing it? could be hard water residue, which is just calcium or it could be mold.. whats the texture like?

either way if you just clean it out it should be fine. what i would do is take the gun apart and spread it out like the schematics in the user's manual and just clean/grease everything because its been unused for 2 years.

theres no way thats water residue, you would have a lot more problems than this if that were the case

like ive said, o ring looks fine. no tears, no breaks, except a little skin peeled. nothing big. could that have that much impact?

I do not know.
A little piece of info, as far as my memory brings me back, the leak happened before storing. So I doubt storing was the cause.

Fixing a marker is a step by step process starting with the simplest and ending at the most complex. First thing i'd do is change that oring. If that don't solve it, try the ptfe tape. If that don't solve it, try a different reg/expansion chamber... and so on.

you can not tell if o rings are good just by looking at them, they either seal or they dont and in this case its not, 95% of the time a leak is caused by an o-ring, change it and go from there

I will do just that. 2 more questions.

1. What is a proper way to dispose of my co2 tank as it expired.

2. I checked pbgear, and what are the orings that i should get.
