.50 cal spyder advancer question

I have just purchased a new spyder .50 cal advancer and I am really impressed with its accuracy and efficiency. But i am having one problem with it where after I shoot about 250 shots off it does the blowback thing like when you run out of c02 in your tank, but the tank is still more than 3/4 full.... After it's first use I took the gun and thouroughly cleaned it and changed one stock o ring in the regulator that i fealt suspicious of. I then went to shoot it again and got just as many shots off as the first time, it did chop one paintball in the barrel like before but that was it....

I am very dumb founded as to why it is doing this.... I really need some input on this guys.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

you cant, 50 cal is not a standard size, only a handfull of companies make 50 cal stuff and nobody makes aftermarket stuff. 50 cal is never going to catch on and replace 68 like smart parts wanted it to.

for your marker though have you tried oiling it yet?

Did you replace the striker/hammer oring?

That could be the problem

Not AZN level price, there's not too many electro markers priced at the same level as the Talon.

nobody is going to, like i said its not a standard size so 50 cal is a dead end market, nobody is going to start making parts for a market that will not be around for long

well why do you say that? It's brand new to paintball as far as guns go.... i mean they are more efficient and accurate why not get into .50 cal guns? It seems like a very viable market to me, with some very strong selling points.

I bet there will be other companies that will get into this... Besides this was just a "check it out" kind of deal for me, I was curious.

I own a Proto Reflex and I have never had it burp on me like it did with the spyder but they also use 2 totally different air systems so thats why I needed help figuring this problem out...

they actually have worse accuracy and efficiency, only the companies that make them will tell you that they are better, in every category they are worse performance wise. the only thing that is better is they are cheaper

heres what happened. smart parts got tired of trying to make money the honest way and resorted to their age old ways of lying to people to get money. since they own the e-marker patent (that shouldnt be theirs anyway) they offered other companies incentives if they made 50cal. so suddenly everyone was ramping up to make 50 cal. long story short SP took out some major loans in order to launch 50 cal over in europe, when they did it crashed and burned hardcore. as it was always going to, the reason SP introduced it was simple. in order for players to switch to 50 cal they would have to buy new markers and hoppers, guess who produced those? SP! anyway of course everyone who already played was not going to run out and buy all new equipment when they already had 68cal gear. and for that reason 50cal is still not going to catch on. long story short SP went bankrupt because of it and since they pulled out of the 50 cal market its been going downhill

heres the thing about 50 cal, if you are using the same velocity, yes it will be more efficient but, you have a much shorter range, if you want the same range you have to crank up your velocity to around 400fps killing the efficiency. at the 300fps yes it hurts less like they say, but again, no range, so you are going to be having firefights at closer ranges and then its going to feel the same, want the same range? ok again, crank it to 400 and you have the same range and then its going to feel the same

nomatter what velocity you are using it has worse accuracy, a smaller and lighter paintball is effected by things like the wind easier

anyway thats the low down on 50 cal. if i were you id sell it ASAP but first lets get it working

replace the hammer o-ring like azn said and that should do it
