In the ultimate spyder thread it states that the rocket valve is the best one for a spyder, but it has such a weird shape i dont know if it will fit my 09 pilot. the AKA tornado valve has a more standard shape, how it performs compared to the tornado? What if i just skip aftermarket valves and buy a drilled high-flow valve off ebay or ask someone to make me one? Share your thoughts.
Its thanks to people dropping money on low end stuff that there is a "rate my marker" or "customization" sections. Not much you can do to a mid/high-end marker besides a new barrel, board, or bolt, and sometimes even that. Whats wrong with the fact that someone wants to spend time and money to make HIS marker and not just one just like any other out there?
Lower operating pressure and better air efficiency is far enough for me...no matter how small the difference can be. Im not trying to make a spyder compare to a mini or anything, i just like to work on and mod my stuff
fyi, for the most part, converting a marker to run low pressure typically decreases efficiency
if you want to customize it then do whatever you want, really theres not even a need to ask us, if you want performance dont do anything to it and find something in the mid range
Here's the deal
Yes, you will be making you Spyder shoot better, but it will still, and always be a Spyder
For some, it's about the project and the mods
If you like working on your markers and spending the money, than by all means, go for it!
post lots of pictures and let us know how it comes out!
If you want a good deal, and are into saving money, than upgrading your Spyder is not the thing to do
You can only take them so far before you start spending money on parts that cost more than the marker itself
