Unhappy Problem with my Spyder MR1

Hi, so I bought a spyder MR1 months ago. I've only played one game on it, but I've done tons of target practice. It has worked fine until Sunday. I was shooting with a friend and it jammed. I wasn't sure what to do, so I pulled on the cocking pin until it became unstuck. Then I shoot a few times and about 10 balls came out. After that it worked fairly well but every now and then it shot 2 at a time. When I brought it in to clean up, there was a rattling sound when I shook it, after I took out all of the parts. I shook it and a black piece fell out along with a thick rubber circle. I looked it over and guessed as how it should go back in. But the piece that moves when you pull the trigger was in the way. I was able to shove the rubber thing past it, and after minutes of pushing really hard on the black metal piece, I acidently hit the trigger which moved the metal piece in. Today I decoded to try in out again. Everything worked alright, but still in about half a hopper 2 balls were shot at once, about 5 times. That's wayyy more then usual. Then a ball popped in the barrel (I use really cheap balls for target practice.) After that the gun was very inaccurate though I don't believe the problem was affecting that much. I came inside to clean it up and the black piece was rattling again. I popped it out and put it back in. It still rattles a little but not as much. Any suggestions on what to do? It's not working as well as it used to and I have a game this saturday. Thanks!

When you pull out the velocity adjuster (the bottom tube cap) there should be a spring, striker buffer (black ring) and the striker, put the striker in first (o-ring side first) with the tapered end towards the back of the gun. You will have to pull the trigger for the striker to slide all the way in. Then slide the spring in, then place the striker buffer around the spring in the tube. Then put the velocity adjuster in and pin it shut. It sounds like you're trying to put the striker buffer in /before/ you put the striker, which is incorrect.

If you ever have any issues with your marker, or are unsure about assembly (note that nothing requires true force to put back in place), use this website. - MR1 Schematic

thanks! The black ring must have slipped off when it jammed because it didn't come out when I took it apart the other day. Thanks so much!
