which board

Gonna get my old spyder imagine select up an running for my son, found a good deal on two boards one being the Tadao board an the other being the virtue board, are they about the same or which one would be the best to get?

Get whatever is cheaper, they'll do the same thing.

If you think a new board will make him shoot faster, it won't

All a new board does is give you new/different firing modes and more adjustability
If there's nothing wrong with the stock board, and your kid isn't playing tournaments that require modes that the stock board doesn't have, than you're better off saving the money for more play time
