older fenix bolt upgrades?

Hi everyone, I'm just getting back into paintball with my son after about 10 years. I just picked up this older fenix for $40 and was wondering if there is any bolt upgrades for it, some of them I've seen say they are only for the earlier models. I'm not sure what year this one is but if anyone could give me some links or info on this gun it would be really appreciated. Thanks

Upgrading the bolt does not have a very significant effect on those markers because of how they operate. Bolts for spyders are not all interchangeable because they have several different styles for the length of the bolt and the location of the bolt pin.

OK thanks. What would be a good barrel to upgrade to? Was thinking of the j&j ceramic. All spyder berrels should be interchangeable right?

Yeah, they will all fit each other for the barrel. That's a good barrel, I liked mine.

yea the J&J barrel is both inexpensive, and fairly good quality. I loved mine as well.
