Spyder Hammer 7

My hammer 7 is about one year old and recently is has started to shred paint quite a bit. I haven't gone through and checked the insides at all since I bought it.

Do I just need to clean it or?

yes. you should probally clean it. The hammer is a pump gun, right? it sounds like something in your pump stroke is out of adjustment, if it's chopping paint.

Okay so I went through it and cleaned the whole gun, cleaned and even replaced a part. When I went back to shooting it started doing the same thing..

Paint I'm using now: GI Sportz Draxxus

I have also have had this problem before with other paint.

clean your hopper, check your detent, clean your barrel

lower your velocity and see if it still happens.

is it breaking in the barrel, or the breech, or somewhere else?

I believe it is in the breach. Both of the little dents have been replaced with new from the extra parts

take the barrel off and shoot some paint to make sure, but if it is breaking in the breach it will still be breaking after you take the barrel off.
