Windows 2000 problem :(

Alright I try and turn my computer on and the damn thing says:
Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt
WINNT\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEMced

Could anyone tell me how to fix it before I call the computer guy?
