Ford introduces '05/'06 Mustang Performance Packages

There are three packages:

Power Pack FR-1:
M-2005-FR1***
For drivers who want to power up and still maintain mild street manners, the Power Pack offers a slightly throatier exhaust note and a new mass air meter with calibration. The result is approximately 20 horsepower! With the Power Pack’s easy bolt-ons, it takes just an afternoon in the driveway to install. The Power Pack includes the Ford Racing Flash Tuner to ensure proper calibration.

Fits 2005 Mustang GT with 5-speed transmission and factory 3.55 gear ratio

Kit includes:
90mm Cold Air Kit M-9603-GT05
Muffler Kit M-5230-GTA
Performance Oil Filter CM-6731-FL820

Premium fuel only

Includes the Pro-Cal tool with official Ford Racing calibration

Approximate increase of 20 horsepower at the rear wheels

$889.00

Drag Pack FR-2
M-2005-FR2***
If you feel the need for speed, get the Drag Pack from FRPP. This kit harkens back to the days of big block Ford power and provides the modular Mustang engine with that same big block performance. With the Drag Pack, you’ll launch harder and accelerate faster while maintaining factory drivability. Expect to shave 5/10ths off your 1/4-mile ETs with this kit.
Drag racing should be conducted at enclosed, dedicated facilities only.

Fits 2005 Mustang GT with 5-speed transmission

Kit includes:
90mm Cold Air Kit M-9603-GT410
4.10 ratio Ring and Pinion M-4209-G410A
Gear Installation Kit M-4210-A
Shorty Headers M-9430-S197
Super Short Throw Shifter designed by Ford Racing and Hurst M-7210-T
Performance Oil Filter CM-6731-FL820

Premium fuel only

Includes the Pro-Cal tool with official Ford Racing calibration

Reduces 1/4-mile ETs up to 1/2 second (So figure on a 13.0 1/4 mile, roughly the same as the '03/'04 Mach 1)

$1399.00

Handling Pack FR-3
M-2005-FR3
Looking for more street manners and an aggressive lowered stance? Grab hold of our Handling Pack! The uniquely tuned dampers are specifically designed for the lowered stance and cornering of the springs and anti-roll bars that are included in this kit. The Ford Racing strut tower brace stiffens up the front end, putting the power to the ground instead of flexing the chassis. A great way to add a little FR500C to your street Mustang!

Fits 2005-06 Mustang GT Coupe

Kit includes:
Dampers M-18000-A
Lowering Springs M-5300-K
Sway Bars M-5490-A
Strut Tower Brace M-20201-S197

All components are designed to work together as a package

Lowers car approximately 1-1/2"

Dampers, uniquely tuned by Multimatic Motorsports (the same company that makes dampers for the FR500C race car)

$1,149.00

Now, this is a good thing. Not only does it mean you can make your GT faster, but it means the next Mach 1/GT350/Bullitt/Boss/ect is going to be more than 320hp and run in the 12 second range, same as the '03/'04 Cobra. Not to bad at all for what will be a low 30k car.
