Quick question

Lately i've been drving a stick, I know when you start to go its a little slow. How do you take off fast or basically peel out? Let the clutch off all the way quickley then give it some gas?

give it some gas, then let the clutch out. if you let the clutch out before giving it gas, it'll cut off. the more gas you give it, the quicker it will get off the line

Don't take it up to 6,000rpms and dump it either. Unless your car is built for it I wouldn't go much further than 3,000rpms or your going to be buying a new trans and/or clutch soon, especially if you barely have enough torque to break the wheels free.

Ohh gotcha, give it full gas, let off clutch, shift into 2nd around 3,000 rpm.

Thanks! Btw the clutch is brand new and the tranny has 3,500 on it while the car itself has 101,000.

He means you don't rev it above 3,000 rpm BEFORE dropping the clutch. Once the clutch is engaged, bring it up to the top of your powerband THEN shift to second.

NO, pay attention:

Step 1: Push in clutch
Step 2: Press gas pedal until RPM gauge reads around 2,000rpm-3,000rpm
Step 3: Ease off clutch
Step 4: Give it more gas when the clutch catches
Hopefully, you will be peeling out.

Now, if you want to do a stationary burn out you need to learn how to work three pedals with two feet or buy a line lock kit. What kind of car is this again?

Just ppush the clutch all the way down, give it some gas ( I usually do around 2000 RPM) then slowly release the clutch. Once it starts to move, give it more gas as you release the clutch.

Eventually you will just get a feel for it, and it will get MUCH easier.

Yea, that should be able to do it. You might only spin one wheel though, I forget if you have an open-dif or limited slip.

If you want a hellish burnout (im prettysure the camaro diff can handle this) run that **** to 5k and drop the clutch. You'll get some smoke off of that one, i guarentee it. I burned out in a festiva with that old proven method

I don't do burnouts...if I wanna trash my tires I find much more fun in fishtailing like a mofo in the truck.
