Someone check this plz.

So.. I'm about to build a new computer. I've pretty much compiled all that I'm going to get, but I like to have someone double-check it just incase I overlook something (I've been known to do that). Anyway, someone please take a look through this and tell me if all this looks good and is compatible:

Two of these:

Edited: Damnit, the RAM that I chose is no longer available. Substitute it for this:

I wouldn't just have 1 400gb hard drive. What if something happens to it? I'd get 2 hard drives so that you can back up important stuff.
Other than that, all i can say is that you have a lot of money.

And some very generous relatives with certain appreciations for computers.

Good point on the hard drive. I'll consider getting 2x 250gb hard drives instead... Those will be far more than I will use anyway.

I'm going to get two so I can completely backup one hard drive onto the other.

I'll probably end up partitioning off the first and running 2 OS's on 1 hard drive, then leave the second one open for mass storage and backups.

What do you guys think about the case? Will it keep it cool enough, or should I add a few 80mm fans to it?

I still for the life of me can't figure out why people buy AMD's products...
I vote change to an Intel.

Because the performance is comparable, if not better, and the prices are lower.

But, intel is attempting to make a comeback.

im suggesting you get a zalman instead of a thermaltake, like the 9500, the case is designed for water cooling so might wanna keep that in mind. nice proc, and might wanna get a wd raptor to boot your games and os from. Get the 74 gig one so you have a lot of space, your boot time will go down quite a noticable amount
