what they do is they store power then release it when i high current load is called for and it responds alot quicker than your battery can because it charges and discharges alot quicker than a battery can

what they help with is they take some of the strain off of your battery when your pulling alot of current and it makes the amps job easier because its getting the current it needs easier

i would place it within a foot or so of your amp if possible the closer the better

and there should be an arrow or something that indicates the power flow because if you hook it up backwards its gonna send that jolt into your batt and alt and its gonna eff some stuff up so be sure to check you connections on it before you power it up

see if you can find a owners book for it online too make sure you got it hooked up right

Alright, Like I said, its pretty old so I might just opt up and buy one of the newer ones with a digital guage on it. Just because it looks cool.

Also pierced-What should I expect to pay for about 4 12" eurolite interor noen tubes?

Sound Quest I think? My brother gave it to me, he had it wired in his cobra, but got a new Rockford cap.

I don't have one in my car. I don't think you need it unless you have some serious power needs.

How much power do you guys need? Granted I only run a 600w 5ch amp. It powers some MB components in front, Orion 6X9's out back and a 10" Kicker Comp Sub. It's loud, clear and pounds in my civic. I've never had dimming headlights etc....

/\ Thats because your civic makes so much HP that its impossible to dim its headlights.

Its mostly on older cars w/ dated alternators.
