So today was some gay community service day at school. Basically you get assigned to a group and you get on a bus and go somewhere and get barked at all day.
Well I decided to stay home.. Plus I had a chriopractor appointment at 9:30 and they won't let you drive there.
So around 10:30 I decided to start some body work on my car.
Worked straight with one break till 8:30 and made a pretty good accomplishment. Someone did a hit and run on my drunk and ****ed it up so I drilled a hole and pulled out most the dent. Spent about an hour and a half grinding, applying putty, sanding, priming, etc.
Left fender was ****ed from an accident I was in about 2 months ago when some kid sideswiped me. Applied putty on the creases and primered and wetsanded everything.
Took off the right fender which was ****ed up the day I got the car from the previous owner. Actually got most the damage off beating the **** out of it, grinded it and shot some primer and paint on it.
So tomorrow I'm rolling into school with 2 huge primer spots and a missing right fender. After school I'm sure I'll finish it up.
10 hours of pretty ****in hard work but I think it will be worth it. My car will look so much better.
I'm going to start on the bumper whenever I get my settlement check and cash it for my recent car accident. I've got quite a bit of filling and sanding to do but I think I can make it turn out nice. While I'm at it, I'm going to fix the tiny rust spots on my quarter panels considering winter shall be here soon.
I don't have any pics because my camrea isn't working.. but I'll get some with my phone tomorrow when it's light out again.
Oh and since my fender and inner fender covering is off, my cold air intake gets MUCH more air. My 1st and 2nd gear pull REALLY hard now, it seriously feels like a 20hp/trq gain. So I'm going to mod the inner fender thing a little bit so I get all that air. Don't worry I'll be purchasing a by-pass valve and a good filter to prevent hydrolock.
