Ermey says,"Who's the goddamn communist micky mouse mother fecker that forgot my movie! Who the feck is it?!?!?!?!?"

With that unpleasantness aside I'd say Band of Brothers, even though it wasnt reallyu a movie but a mini-series.

Full Metal Jacket was an awesome movie, but i wouldn't consider it a war movie. It was more basic training then everything....But i am probably wrong.

You are so wrong, what did you turn it off halfway through it or something? Ermey will come to your houst, tear off your head and sh!t down the home, do you understand!?!?!?

Kelly's Hereos was a WW2 movie.

Thumbs up

I'd have to say Black Hawk Down...simply because it is relatively recent and you see better than any other movie currently out there how our soldiers fight around the world right now. It has no romance or anything else that distracts from the story and what really happened in Mogadishu in 1993. Simply put, it is a movie about soldiers and what they went through...and it proves that a movie without girly (yes, GIRLY) elements like love stories really can tell a worthwhile story that changes the way we see those around us.

'Nuff said.
