Network Adapter

I cant connect to SOCOM?

I do have cable internet. the test says that i am online but my registration cant be sent to SCEA, does this matter?

and can I be online on my comp while on this also?

This is the message it gives me when I try to connect:

Could not connect to the SOCOM server. Please check to make sure your internet connection is functioning properly and that the selected Network Configuration settings are correct.

Do u have a router? If u dont have a router, u will need to unhook ur comp. from the internet. Good routers run around $50-60. Make sure everything is hooked up correctly, and if it is, the servers r jusr prolly down. It happens sometimes, just try it a little later. If this doesnt work try calling Sony for help.

well i dont think it is the server, I tried this like 6 months ago and it didnt work. i dont know if i have a router or not? i will find out though

if u dont know, u most likely dont. Heres wat u do. Find ur cable modem.. Find the wire that looks like a big phone wire. Unplug it from ur modem and plug it into ur NA. u should be good to go.

ull know u have a router if u got one........its a seperate box kind of like ur modem but a little different.......depending on what kind of router it is
