snow =/

this is pathetic. We are getting 5 inches plus of snow here, and while in school, our principal continously gave announcements that we are not going to be dismissed early. So at the end of the day, the bell rings, and we walk out, and there is 4 inches of snow even more in some places. Our buses are late, i had to wait 15 minutes in the blistering cold.

People are thinking of doing a walkout on monday demanding an apology from the superintendant. They put us in so much danger today, its just pathetic. We are getting hit the hardest in the tri state area, yet we are the only ones that still had school. And worse of all, its a mother ****ing FRIDAY

Wow, 4 inches of snow?! That's unheard of! You say much danger? I'm sorry but if you believe that's true you're mistaken. Around here we can get well over 4 inches in a day, no "danger". Up in the UP Michigan they get well more than we do here even to get school cancelled/delayed. Buses were late, had to wait outside, so you had a bad day....if your school had a walk out for that, I'm sorry, but that's retarded.

I know, wow, 4 inches. We've have over an inch of snow in under 10 mminutes. Danger my ass! My bus driver does 10 over, and nobody has been killed yet!

And its a friday. You have all weekend to stay home, out of the blistering cold!

man its cold up here but wont snow

ill be happy if we get 6+ inches

why would you do a walkout? Just complain and if its that bad next time he will think again... If you protest what are you gonna want? a snow day on monday no matter what the conditions are

i live in california....sorry had to rub it in.

anyways, complaining to the super etc. wont get anything done. we tried it when i was in public school last year over sumthin else and all we did was waste our own time. just grit your teeth and deal with it is the best advice prolly.

dude, we were supposed to get 1-3 inches, after a few hours, we have 5+. We will still be snowing all day and night, so trust me, we are def. getting hit the hardset. Oh, and im not wakling out, i heard some kids talking about it, most of it is just frustration, but it would be nice if the super apologized for being a stubborn *****

I find it amusing how with 4 inches of snow no one can drive. I also find it really amusing how i'm riding my snomobile and I can get around 10 minutes faster then every other vehicle on the road.

yea some places just arent prepared. my school wasnt even delayed last year for 15 inches. i know it sucks, but we have enough plows and stuff to clear the area out in like 30 minutes flat. last year we had over 3 feet deep of snow by february, and we had only one 2 hour delay up to that time, even though every major storm ocurred on a school morning

That's funny. 3 inches of snow causes loss of traction on the minivans. I see minivans cruise thu 8 -12 inches of snow every year.
Try dealing with an ice storm. 1 inch of ice coating the roads after the first hour. THAT'S dangerous.
