Drivers ed, boring, but fun.

Alright, I have my permit and my mom made me take that damn drivers education course over the summer.
First of all, my teacher for the learning is wierd as hell. His name is coach gun. First off, he'll start talking bout seatbelts. Then He'll talk about insurance rates for guys are higher because guys drive on dates. Then He talked about that if we're sweet we'll buckle our girlfriend. THen he explained how if we don't buckle her up that she can get in the middle. Then he talked about how you can tell if someone is dating because they can drive with their left hand. *or right if the steering wheel is on the other side* He said he can drive really well with his left hand. I'm sittin in class like DUDE, WE DON'T CARE! WE GOTTA PUT UP WITH THIS FOR 2 HOURS????????????????

Then one time he is like "Yeah, you get introuble if you touch women, but you don't get in trouble for looking at them cuteys." I'm sittin in my seat wondering how in the hell he got on that topic.

Anyways, when I had to drive last thursday, we drove to emcc and back. I had a partner named Victoria. First, when I get in the damn car, the seat is all the way up, and the steering wheel all the way down. I'm 6" so I was cramped in that little ass chevy lumina.
Then, when we get to emcc *east meridian community college* Victoria had to park so the instructor *who was old and crazy, not the driver ed teacher* could get some papers. When backed out.........ooops. Lol, she scraped the bottom on the curb cuz she pulled up too far but he let it slide.

Then, after she drove for a while, I drove again. Lol, we're on highway 45 and he tells me to literally mash the gas to the floor. I did and the car gets up to 80/85 and he tells me to slow down. I was doin 60 cuz I was not comfy in that lumina. He explained that "We drive the speed limit or slower so we can get our driving time in without having to cover a lot of miles" I'm like HeHe, whatever crazy man. Anyways, there is my little story bout last thursday.

I think thats an oxymoron.

yeah our drivers ed teacher was a little odd too. He would ramble for 3/4 of the time. But hey he bought us food on the drives because he cant go 15 mins without eating.

Yes, oxymoron, I know that. THe teacher is boring, but driving is fun. Our teacher made us watch a video about the mississippi organ recovery agency. I'm like wtf???? What does that have to do with drivin??? nothing in the video related to drivin. The only slight connection was that you have to sign yes/no for orgon donation on your drivers liscense. Damn, we could have just had a quick discussion instead of watching a 20 minute video about families who were saved by organ donations.

We do have cute cheerleaders and soccer players who wear really short shorts. I guess that makes the class a little more interesting. Cuteys galore but I'll be faithful to my girlfriend.......I can still look though.

I'm taking it over the summer too, mainly just for lower insurance costs and so I can get my night license in Feb.

It gonna be funny when he kills himself because he didn't wear a helmet/seatbelt.
*Not really*
Anyways, I won't wear a seatbelt. I plan on getting racing style seats just for looks but I'll end up installing a 4 point harness. *5 point goes up your crotch. OUCH!*

why get 4 points? I don't wear a helmet when im cruising. I won't later on when I have full license either. On a good sized trip I will but not when just riding. Why get a 4 point system. My friend jerad had his mustang before the roll. He had cobra imolas. They are made for 4/5 connection. He had the regular belt. If I were you I would get the the seats and a regular belt cause any different system is uncomfortable I mean really uncool. you would end up wearing it either when you raced or not at all...not cool.

Lol, I will. I said 4 point harness. it goes over your right shoulder, into the click thingy, over your left shoulder into the click thingy, and over both sides of your waste. It's more efficient than a seatbelt. Most seatbelts only engage when u let off the gas, press the brake or the clutch. This stays on all the time but u can press the release to get out quite easily.
Why 4 point? safer in most ways. I won't have airbags. Sparco steering wheel and dvd player in passenger seat. I don't trust the stock seatbelt.

who are you talking to? cubsfan said the little comercial saying then I explained that most people who have a different belt system end up not wearing them. What does that have to do with you explaining to me what it is? also its waist. your just going into drivers ed now why are you thinking you want race seats? Id say drive and leave your car stock untill your 18 so your not on sr22 by the age of 16

I'll leave the car mostly stock til I get enough money to pay for all the cool accessories and stuff but I can't stand leavin it completely stock. Even if I get a sparco steering wheel I still gotta install better seatbelts cuz no airbag. So I'm just gonna change the seats and maybe leave the stock seatbelt, but if I got the money i'll go for a 4 point.

all im sayin is they are normally a pain and youll end up not wearing it at all...the idea is its holding you back to the seat...its made for preformance driving and high speed stuff so when going at a responsable speed can get really annoying..just because you are tied down to your seat not much movement.

When I get my car I'm not gonna mess with it. I really don't care if I can go 200 or not. Just so I can go 70, I'm good. I'm getting ready to buy a car. Just so I can learn about it and learn to drive better. I'm getting a red '76 Corvette convertable. I just wanna get places and look good doing it. I don't care about speed.

The crotch belt actually doesn't hurt. Everyone thinks it must kill and stuff, but really it doesn't bother you. The crotch belt isn't pulled super tight or anything, just snug enough that you can't wind up slipping down in an accident.

5 point > 4 point
