the most respectable thing you can call someone is "Scheißekopf" so dont hesitate to call her boss that.

Well last time I went there was the summer I was 12...the people in general are nice and open-minded; just avoid the ghetto areas.

It's also got a lot of tourist attractions...good to learn about and look at.

I've been to Germany two times. I love it, I was born there in an American military base. I love that place.

I've backpacked through it. No complaints.

The strangest thing I remember is its against the law to wear camoflauge. I remember that because I packed some old BDU pants, but was warned not to wear them, so I didn't.

strange.

yeah, the reason for that is because after the whole nazi thing, it is illegal to show strong german pride (b/c thats what hitler did). and i suppose the camo is kinda reminding them of a militia like thing. just a guess. they're just trying to keep holocaust 2 from happening

Depends on how you behave.

I don´t know about any such law. The only thing that comes close would be a law against wearing masks etc to cover your face in public, like balaclavas. You could wear them now but they´re not the kind of clothes "regular" (as far as you can define that term) people would wear. Just wear regular (that word again..) pants/shorts, like jeans or something and you´ll be fine.

Not illegal, just heavily frowned upon. What´s illegal is the publication of right wing thoughts/media. Not owning them (due to the freedom of thought) ,but publicly advertising these thoughts

Spelled right. only with a capital A. Autobahn. Generally, you don´t have a speed limit, but around cities it´s usually 120 kph, sometimes 80 or 60 if there´s construction going on. If somebody would care to do the math, I´m too lazy at the moment to translate kph into mph.

Don´t do that. It´s shi*thead and you won´t get a positive response from people for that.

How old are you ? 16 or higher ? No problem getting beer then, Germany rules in that way. It´s different from your beer as you can only put certain ingredients into it, it´s a kind of law dating back to the 17 th century. It´s just much better than american beer. Oh, yeah, you´re going to bavaria, right ? Get a "Mass", which is a 1 liter tankard full of "Weizenbier" .Another advantage of German beer is that you actually feel that there´s alcohol in there pretty soon, not after having to drink a gallon of it...

If you can get yourself a hold of "Detmolder Dunkel" It is one of the best beers ive tasted in my time. And believe me. Having been born and raised there, you drink a lot of different beers. Because every town basically makes their own little brew there are literally thousands of different beers. Enjoy

Definately check out the Nurburgring track. I'm not sure if there is an age limit but you can drive any car on it for a small price. www.gofastvideo.com has full incar runs of the track so that you can learn it beforehand.
