So basically im guessing it's just saying

"Look for a pack that has XXX on it or has a litte * mark on the right hand corner"

And things like that?

I used to be in to collecting cards until I realized it's a waste of money. So what if Beckett says your card is worth $50. It's gonna be hard to actually find someone that will buy, and actually buy it for $50. I still saved all mine in hopes that I can make a little money when I'm older.

yeah same here, i've got a couple cards like a Terrell Owens signed rookie card (signed personally by him, at a Sears grand opening in vallejo years ago), some jersey cards, etc. a have a couple thousand football cars sittin in a box in the garage or somewhere.

so what kind of "techinques" are these? obviously if you could hand-examine the packs you could get the packs that are thicker and they'd probably have the jersey cards or whatnot. I know that the guy who owned the card shop had a little scale and would weigh the Pokemon packs cuz the foils weighed a tiny bit more than the regular ones.
