go to www.suprnova.org. look for DVD burner software, i dont use a dvd burner, most of them are actually illegal. go to suprnova though they have tons of software i think alcohol 120% is a burnng software, or it migt be something completely different.

I'm doing everything 100% Legal. I'm backing up copies of DVDs I already own.

TMpgenc, TMpgenc, TMpgenc

Its currently the best DVD encoder on the market, and free to boot.

However, it takes some skill to use. It also helps to have V-Dub, and a decent burner, like Nero.
Creating "root" DVDs is easy, but if you want menus, then thats more complicated.

The ABSOLUTE best source is www.dvdrhelp.com . They have all the software I mentioned, plus EASY TO FOLLOW, STEP-BY-STEP guides on how to burn DVDS.

NOTE: Illegal copies of movies will get you JAIL TIME, so do not do it. Please stay a butt-virgin.
However, I DO advocate copying the movies you ALREADY own. For example: My kids have there own DVD player, but are "rough" on the DVDs. SO, I make them copies to play. If they break them, no big deal. I just make another.

Most def TMpgenc. Alk120 is alright, but you get much more features and it is easier to use with tmpgenc.
