Merry Christmas and a ?

Merry Christmas, I'm sure everyone that celebrates is having fun enjoying all their new swag, but I have a question about mine.

I got 2 MP3 players for Christmas and am having trouble deciding which one to keep and which one to return. One is a Creative MuVO N200 256 Mb MP3 player, which I received from my aunt. I am leaning towards it because I pointed it out in the store as something that I would like to have.

The other one was given to me by my brother and his wife. It is a Lexar JumpGear MP3 player, with a 64 Mb jump drive. It can be upgraded by purchasing a new jumpdrive to hold up to 512 Mb, or more I'm sure if bigger jump drives come out.

Does anyone who knows a lot of about this stuff have any advice? Please respond asap because I intend to open whichever one I end up keeping tonight to put some music on it for my trip, I am leaving tomorrow. Thanks in advance for any help. Happy holidays.

In all honesty, keep the more comfortable one. If you wanted the first one I'm sure you had a reason for it. Let's say an average length CD turned to MP3s of average sound quality takes up about 90mb. That's not exact, but I'd say it'll be close. That should give you some idea of how many tracks you can fit on each.

Another thing to look at would be if they even play MP3, and how easy it is to plug it into your computer and load up. My dad bought me one of the Sony players last year and I find it to be a bad product. To plug in I have to use buggy software that isn't compatible with WinXP. Also I have to let it convert my MP3s into Sony's own little format, Atrac (I think?). It has "check in, check out" and all this goofy stuff that is pointless.

I used to have a Creative Rio 500 back when these were new, and if it still worked I would use it.

For the Jumpgear's credit though, 1gig jumpdrives are on the market. Upgrading to that level might be costly though.

Whichever one looks better. Or, the one with more memory if looks aren't more important than the music.

Me personally i would go with memory, b/c i figure one is not that much beter lookin than the other. If one looked fugly, THEN go with the pretty one.

Upgrading space is too much. Just get the CREATIVE MUVO.

Thanks for all the input guys. I talked to a friend of mine who works at Best Buy in the States, and he recommends the Creative. He has two of them himself and says they are a great product, so I'm sticking with that one, which was the one I wanted anyway. Thanks again for all your responses.
