mots people do know what an icon x is, i also happen to dislike BT's, and they did do a great job of simulation, but from most reviews did a terrible job at functionality and quality...

6/10 barrel is too long, but does look good..

Get a shorter barrel. It isn't practical to have it that long, nor does it look good. (That's what she said?)

16 inches should do it.

Responding to the performance of this marker I have had no problems with it. I started out with the BT-16, can see part of it in the top photograph, and it never failed me. So far with this BT-4 I have not had to make any repairs but I do clean it after each game that I use it in.

The long barrel I basically like how it looks but I may purchase a shorter barrel and move over on it the parts that is currently on the 20 inch barrel. I have removed the parts once to place electric tape on the end of the shroud to reduce the noise it was making when moving. The shroud was lost enough to move slightly but one put a band of electric tape on it and tightened it back down it has not moved at all, lock tight does wonders. Overall I am very happy with this marker.

Since September I have replaced the upper carrying handle with a red dot sight. I am considering placing the carrying handle back on with the red dot sight if I get a Q-Loader.

Update

Ok I have finally purchased a Q-loader and used it. All I have to say is that it is different then anything that I have every used before! But here are some updated pictures of my BT-4.

Added:
Q-Loader system
3/4in raised sight rail for scope
3x - 9x air soft scope
"Combat Light" (flash light that looks good and is currently held on with two black zip ties)

Removed:
BT Adjustable Sight Rail
Ricochet 2K Hopper

nice looking gun but I am not a fan of the huge barrel or the equally huge site, that is just my personal preference but if you like it more power to you.

7/10

Ok I have changed out scopes and moved the Q-Loader farther down the barrel and added my grip back. Think that this set up looks better.

Update: 18:24 on 08/28/08

The attached pictures are the older ones. I have used my 1in scope mounts to redirect the line from the Q-Loader and attach my flash light in a more professional way. Overall I am pleased by how it looks and it is functional. I just sat down and zeroed in the scope at 50 yards. The adjustments on the scope were crazy to work with one way said left but when I moved it left the dot went to the right... 1hr later I am zeroed into about a 1ft x 1ft box at 50 yards (+- 5 yards). I guess that is good but I was using CO2. Can you bore out a paintball barrel??? I have access to a boring tool but I do not want to mess up the barrel but I was thinking that I could run the bore down the barrel once to give the paint some spin when it leaves the barrel but since the paintballs are round would this have any affect on the accuracy of the paint?

Here is the final version: (I am going for both looks and function but mostly looksfunction… lookunction… lounction. That’s it lounction.)

Lounction (Adv)
1. To create a item that intimidates and performs without loosing performance to get the point across that you will be hit by a paintball…

I thought about a laser but you can not see those small dots out in the woods and it would just add more weight to the nose of the marker. As of now I have it balanced pretty well to the center of the marker (When loaded with paint and use of a remote line). Look and enjoy!

Yeah I forgot and left the lens caps on...

If I need to I can resize the pictures let me know.

I think while having a 20in isn't worth it, its a much better look(mil-style) than a 16in and thats what hes trying to do. Thats a nice looking gun and gj in buying a qloader.
8.7/10 for the overall mil style.

Ace gun. I like BTs - I think I'll get one. I've been paintablling 5 times (with Tippmanns, Bt4, Diablos) and There have been no problem with them. I like the miltary stylig.
8.9/10

That is a WAY unreasonable rating! Just cuz you cant afford it doesnt mean you have to giv it a 0/10. I cant afford an ETEK2 with a star frame but if i were to rate it i would give it a 9/10 cuz THEY put the effort into the gun. Look at Rheinhold's gun, he prolly put close to $400 onto that gun and the extra 140 for the gun itself.

Rheinhold, i give your marker a 9.5/10 im nt the biggest fan of the scope but whatever works for you

9/10 for form, it looks very convincing

-1/10 for function, you have taken a stock marker and made it heavier and less efficiant than it was
