True, though it's just an over priced 08 which is and over priced 07... Sweet marker, the best, but I think it was to much money for what you get.

10/10 regardless.

I agree with you that it is very over priced for what you get.

I would seriously be afraid to have it get hit with a paintball. Or just to use it.

Hopefully when I get my other (yes, I ordered two) I'll have better color combos.

No. I just generally sell other guns to pay for new ones.

Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate ,but that we are powerful beyond all measure.

If your parents DON'T pay for your paintball stuff, put this on your sig
92% of teens moved to rap music. if your part of the 8% that stayed with rock, put this in your sig.

I bought my Ego8 like... months before the Slater was even announced or anything. I sold it once the Slater came out to pay for it.

I get a few months use out of the guns so its not like its a waste.

Ok, I'm totally confused so I'll just give up. So basically you buy a really expensive gun, use it for like a month, sell it for another good gun?

I bought my Ego8 in like November.

I sold it this month to help pay for the SL8R. I got 4 months of use out of it.

I couldn't have "bought the other gun" as you said, since it wasn't out at the time.

Is owning a Sl8r more of a status level?

I'm looking to get one from the Evil Bay NIB with everything. IE tank gear, mask, gloves etc...
Cost is 1600, 1880 BIN.

Worth it???

BTW This is My first post here on your forums and thank-you for some ................MANY hrs of reading

If this is your first gun then no, if this is your second gun then no lol. The sl8r's are heavily overrated. Get an ego8, shoots EXACTLY THE SAME, or even an ego7.

I apprieciate the complexity of the gun, and no this would not be My first 2nd or 3rd. I have other than paint ball, real ones I used to gunsmith.

My hobby background has been R/C Helis and ducted fan jets for the last 6 years.

I am looking to get a high end marker that will last years and mabey even be slightly a collectable! Does the SL8r fit this bill?

Other hobbies include brewing beer and making alcohol and restoring My BMW E31 8series.

Thanks
Jonathan
