For the price, the marker has a high rate of fire. It's decent out of the box, but I'd change out the Grips, throw a Rail and On/Off on it, and of course change the Barrel. Other than that, it's a nice beginner marker.
i've seen and shot a misfit. a kid i play paintball with has one. it's pretty nice out of the box. i personally think they look great but i don't feel its much better than a spyder if better at all. the misfit does has better range than a spyder though.
3 people i play with have them, in truth they are spyders with a slightly higher capped board. When the 3 kids first got them all three had different failures of some type. After the problems have been worked out they have the same maintenece of a spyder. What did impress me is the stock barrel which is very accurate.
The misfit is usually around 199.99 and if you have ever held one you would know they are not cheap. also if their was ever a problem with a misfit all you have to do is contact syndicate and they would always service the gun usually for free and syndicate only takes about 24 hours to get the gun teched and shipped back out. not months like some companys(ie. ICD, Smart Parts)
Yea im pretty sure that the VS wont wrk at all. I really want to set my misfit up with a Rocking trigger and a DYE Grip, lol. I have a decent amount of mods done to it already just need to finish what i started. thumup:
ehhh I don't know. I know that a pirahana frame will no work on a spyder and vice versa. I know a dragun frame will fit on a spyder if you move it back or forward a bit, but i'm unsure if a spyder will work on a dragun.
I do know that alot of the pirana parts dont wrk with the Syndicate "Misfit" but a ass load of the parts from spyders do. Dont ask. Syndicate never came out with any upgrades for the misfit. I'll buy the E Frame and see if it wrks, the gun really needs a better trigger and none of the spyder triggers fit the Misfit.
Pro
- Cheap (2008)
- Reachs 16bps stock
- Spyder upgrades compatable
- Good stock barrel
- No upgrades needed really
Cons
- On the heavy side
- Eats batteries...Get a google search "Paintball 9.6 volt rechargeable battery" and click on the Kingman Spyder batteries (rechargeable) for lie $10
- Shoots high out of box (Buy a spring kit for like $10)
I think it's worth it..
I got mine for under $100 BNIB and I love it as a backup for my PM8 and 07EGO ....big difference between these guns though...
i know that this thread is probably dead already but i cant find a feedneck that will fit the syndicate misfit. I found one in a store with spyder threads but it was apparently too big and didn't fit in my gun. If you know of a clamping feedneck that will fit the misfit please tell me. thank you
