Question 05 Ego help

Ok so I recently purchased an 05 Ego and need help figuring out how everything works on it. I also need to know what NOT to do with it and what is good for it. Also, I got a Halo two with it and I need a little help with it also. Thanks!!

well, dont break anything, thats step one, parts are no longer made for that marker so if anything major breaks you are up a creek

if you have the manual give it a read, if not i believe this is the one you are looking for

http://files.planeteclipseb2b.com/eg...-MANUAL-EN.pdf

for the halo too, put a battery in it and turn it on, thats about it, keep it clean, as with everything

read through the manual, that should give you a good idea of how to use it, if you still have questions come back and we will be happy to answer them

however it kinda sounds like you are new to this am i wrong? if i am right, sorry to break the bad news to you but that marker was probably not the best choice to start with, but we will make it work

do you have a HPA tank and mask? if so which ones?

Thanks for all your help!
To answer your questions, this is my first time I've ever had anything better than a Spyder haha but yeah I've been playing paintball for a while now and to answer your other question I have a pure energy 3000/48 and a vforce armor mask.

"well, dont break anything, thats step one, parts are no longer made for that marker so if anything major breaks you are up a creek" by Trbo.

That is true. And while it is also true that it may not be the best marker you could have gotten it is by far not the worst (i.e. an Ion to name one).

Good thing is these are very sturdy markers and you can find used parts with a little effort. They are pretty easy to set up and with standard maintenance (cleaning) it will last a long while. The BIG things to worry about is the solinoid and the QEV's where thay connect to the rammer housing. The QEV's are easy to come by (ebay) but if you break them off in the rammer housing you have a pain in the butt to get the piece out without damaging the treads... So be gentle. Should not be a problem. Do not over screw the top back grip screws or you WILL damage the solinoid. AND THIS IS A TOUGHER PART to find.

That said this is a great marker. I loved mine. In fact my son used it during Nationals in Lakeland last year (before he bought his Ego 09) and it functioned flawless. They are Planet Eclipse markers so they are really simple. Keep your o'rings clean, lightly lubed and you should be ok.

Awesome thank you... although since I posted this I contacted the PE support and they said that they do still have some parts available and gave me an email address to contact if I ever needed anything... hopefully I never damage the noid but if I do hopefully they'll have some... and now you've got me paranoid and I'm going to go loosen off the top back grip screw right now to be sure haha
