Has anyone used undercocker kits from punisher? I thought they looked nice but I'm skeptical of spending $75-$140 on one. thanks.

answered own question

I thought I'd answer my own question in a way and post this review I found.

Strengths: Solid, Comfortable, Allows barrel aiming

Weaknesses: Price, Stiffer pump than stock, Disassembly.

Review: The Streamliner is a great product for a great gun, the CCI Phantom. Normally, the Phantom's pump is only guided by the pump rod and the barrel. The Streamliner puts the pump below the barrel instead, where it is partially guided by the bottom of the barrel. Punisher's Customs is known for its fine work, and this is no exception.

There are a couple advantages to this. First, I can now shoot by sighting down the barrel like on a WGP Sniper II or any other semi-auto. This makes snapshooting much easier, because the sight picture is clearer without the pump wrapping around the barrel.

Second, The pump is in a more comfortable position, like on a pump shotgun or a Sheridan-based pump marker. This just helps balance the marker out better than before.

The disadvantages are minor. The pump on my Phantom is almost half as much stiffer, but not restrictively so. The pump no longer glides along the barrel effortlessly. Field stripping is slightly more complicated, because the pump arm can no longer be kept in place simply by screwing the barrel in inside the pump. It takes slightly more effort to line up the bolt and pump arm before reassembly. Price is also an issue, as the kit costs about 1/3 the total cost of a Phantom.

[edit] I took some fine grit sandpaper on a dowel to the part that rides along the barrel. With a little work, I've eliminated the tension that stiffened the pump stroke. It's as smooth as with a regular pump now.

Conclusion: Overall, I definately recommend this product. It gives the Phantom a sturdy heft and feel, while opening up sighting down the barrel. All disadvanteges are minor, and often are addressed in Punisher's other (dual armed) undercocking kits.
