Pump Guns Question

Hey everyone! It seems like now... all I want is pumps and that's it. I have an 09 Shocker, Etek 2, Tippmann Pro-lite (Old), and a Tippmann 98 Custom all these of which I still use. What I'm going to do is sell my 98 custom and get a pump. Do you think this is a good idea, or a bad one?

That's really up to you I play pump most of the time and love it but it isn't for everyone. A lot of the time new players get into pump imagining that they are going to be shooting people out in one shot all the time and kicking ass and taking names. In reality they tend to get frustrated after losing game after game and quitting pump as quick as they start. If you think you have the patience to learn a new style of play and don't mind going onto the field at a disadvantage playing pump is a very rewarding experience.

Thanks!

Thanks for the comment! I've been playing for around 5 months now and I have decided to start using a pump. I'll probably go with an Azodin, but furthermore, I want to teach myself better accuracy and not to waste that much paint.

My motto is "Spray'n Pray" which isn't that good; I tend to end up wasting a lot of paint because of it. To resolve this solution, I'm just going to start using a pump.

If it helps you any here are a few of the better pumps to consider

Trracer (new model)
ANS X5
Chipley MAchine (nice custom guns and parts to make pumps from cockers)
CCI Phantom

Also if you want to get into pump hard core here are the rules for a stock class marker:
1. Paintball Gun
a. Pump action, 0.68 caliber.
b. Single 12 gram CO2 powerlet only. No check valves.
c. Requires the removal (unscrewing) knob or housing to change the powerlet. (No lever changers.)
d. Horizontal feed, 20 round maximum.
e. Vertical feed, 10 round maximum. (Any configuration that allows more than one paintball to be stacked over the breech feed opening.)
f. External velocity adjusters must be locked into position.
g. Any length barrel. No silencers or sound suppressor extensions.
h. Any type of stocks, grips and sights.
